The birth of the new moon is predicted to occur on the night between May 16 and 17. If the crescent is sighted on the evening of Sunday, May 17, then 1st Zil Hajj will be on May 18, placing the 10th of Zil Hajj (Eid day) on May 27. However, the final date remains subject to the official sighting of the moon by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
Public Holiday Notification Eid Ul Adha 2026
